Closing Manager


The primary responsibility of the Closing Manager is the administration of processes and personnel of the Loan Closing Team. Moreover, this position will oversee staff who ensure the accuracy and verification of necessary documents for loan closings and direct the preparation of loan closing documents, forms, notices, and loan reports. Specialized knowledge of legal descriptions, documentation of real property, title commitments/policies, and underwriting standards related to title examination is required. 

Location: Administration Office – Cullman, AL

Reports to: Loan Processing Director


Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting (or equivalent experience) and five (5) years of experience in the banking or mortgage industry required. Previous experience in the administration of loan closings is strongly preferred. Previous supervision of personnel is also required for the candidate to be considered.


Managing the team of Closing Specialist who:

  • Verify loan closing data; update info as needed

  • Review executed closing documentation and forward closing instructions to applicable attorney

  • Requests loan disbursement

  • Records new loans, establishes relevant files, and maintains a variety of loan records

  • Monitors the booking of loans and verifies the accuracy of the database
