WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Frequent interaction with customers, association departmental staff and management. Occasional interaction with area professionals including real estate agents, commercial bankers, and others who deal with the association in the normal course of business.


POLICY AND COMPLIANCE:

Compliance with FCBT and Association technology and security standards is required.

Reports to: Rotating Department Supervisors

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a degree seeking curriculum from an accredited college or university and must have successfully completed a minimum of 85 credit hours. The association prefers candidates who are seeking degrees in applicable areas such as Agribusiness, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing or Agricultural specific disciplines.

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Alabama Farm Credit offers a paid, 320-400-hour summer internship with flexibility for beginning and ending dates, as well as with the intern’s weekly schedule. Internships are available in all major areas of the associations operations including lending, credit, appraisal, accounting, finance, marketing, and operations.
