With licensed foresters on staff, Alabama Farm Credit can also offer understanding and service that goes beyond the typical lending experience.

Unique Needs, Powerful Partnerships

Our members benefit from lenders who get to know them and the needs that are unique to timber-related businesses. Financing is available to a wide range of businesses from those investing in timberland to others looking to create access to, or make improvements on, forestland.

Wide-Ranging Opportunity

Alabama Farm Credit provides financing for timber-related work big and small. This could include, but isn’t limited to, establishing roads and fire lanes on an existing property, replanting harvested areas or aiding a timber company in its purchase of sawmill equipment or leasing machinery.
